Job Criteria

Job Tittle	Physiotherapist
Minimum Qualification	Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy, Physiology, Medical Rehabilitation or any other relevant field.   Must have completed a year internship programme and be registered with the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy.   Must also have been exposed to physical treatment environment: have experience in a health or care setting e.g.  Physiotherapy Clinics, sports clinics, special schools and units, and nursing homes or charities like Red Cross.

Required Skills	The ability to build rapport with patients from a variety of backgrounds and communicate with their relatives and care givers. Patients can include children, the elderly, stroke patients and people with sports injuries etc.Good time management. Tolerance and patience, Good physical health fitness. interpersonal skills to establish a rapport with patients and their familiesMust be committed to the contractual obligation to maintain patient confidentiality.a firm but encouraging and empathetic attitude
Job Responsibilities and Tasks	The role of a Physiotherapist is to reduce pain, increase movement and mobility, repair damage and improve clients’ quality of life, to this effect, the Clinic welcomes applicants who are ready to work by:   Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions and movement disorders in clients Working with clients and other health professionals to design an appropriate program of prevention and treatment. Prescribing exercises and physical aides to assist with mobility and movement. Encouraging activities that contribute to the fitness of Clients Carrying out a follow up to ascertain sustained healthy condition of treated patients involve parents and care givers in the treatment, review and rehabilitation of patients educate patients and their relatives about how to prevent and/or improve conditions keep up to date with new techniques and technologies available for treating patients Other duties/additional tasks Performing other duties and tasks at the request of management of the organization.
